Kelly has narrated 150+ audiobooks across all genres, recording everything from thrillers to memoir, self-help to sci-fi, and tech digests to vampire romance.​​ She is a regular narrator for the Guardian, BBC, and New Scientist, and winner of the AudioFile Earphones Award for Elin Cullhead's novel, Euphoria.

Kelly trained as an actress at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art — and also has an MA in gender theory — so she's as at home in an academic text as she is an historical romance.
